ZASS Technology has signed an agreement with RFL Electronics for router assembly assemble in Bangladesh, marking a step forward in strengthening the country’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem.

Under the partnership, routers will be assembled at RFL Electronics’ facilities, enabling a shift from import dependence toward domestic value addition. The initiative is expected to support the growing demand for internet connectivity devices, driven by increasing digital adoption across households and businesses.

The collaboration will facilitate technology transfer and skill development, enhancing local technical capabilities in electronics assembly. It also aligns with Bangladesh’s broader push to expand its ICT and electronics manufacturing base, while reducing reliance on imported finished goods.

By leveraging RFL’s existing manufacturing infrastructure and ZASS Technology’s expertise, the project aims to improve supply chain efficiency, shorten lead times, and make devices more accessible in the domestic market.

The move reflects rising private sector investment in Bangladesh’s electronics segment, which continues to gain momentum as digital infrastructure expands. Local router assembly initiatives such as this are expected to play a key role in supporting industrial diversification, job creation, and the development of a competitive technology manufacturing sector.
