A New Milestone in China-Bangladesh Economic Partnership.

A day-long conference titled “China-Bangladesh Conference on Investment and Trade” will be held on 01 June 2025 at the joint initiative of the governments of China and Bangladesh. About 250 investors and businessmen from 100 Chinese companies will participate in the conference, including top officials of 6-7 Fortune 500 companies. Besides, top representatives of the 04 Chambers of Commerce of China will be present.

This will be the largest-ever visit to Bangladesh by such a significant number of Chinese investors and business leaders. Notably, the event is a direct outcome of the recent visit of the Honorable Chief Adviser to China and the Investment Summit held in April. The growing interest of Chinese investors is opening up significant opportunities for the Bangladeshi economy.

Professor Muhammad Yunus, the Honorable Chief Adviser of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, will attend as Chief Guest at the opening ceremony. At the same time, H.E. Mr. Wang Wentao, Minister of Commerce of the Government of China, will be present as the Special Guest.
