Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) has entered into an agreement with Bangladesh BaoRui Textile Co. Ltd., marking a significant step forward for the country’s textile industry. The company is set to produce raw yarn, knitted fabric, and garments, contributing to Bangladesh’s thriving export sector.
The agreement was officially signed today at the BEPZA Complex in Dhaka in the presence of BEPZA’s Executive Chairman, Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, BSP, ndc, psc. Representing their respective organizations, Mr. Md. Ashraful Kabir, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA, and Mr. Huang Hua, Managing Director of Bangladesh BaoRui Textile Co. Ltd., signed the agreement.
Also attending the ceremony were key BEPZA officials, including Executive Director (Investment Promotion) Md. Tanvir Hossain, Executive Director (Enterprise Services) Md. Khorshid Alam, Executive Director (Admin) A.S.M. Zamshed Khondaker, and Executive Director (Public Relations) A.S.M. Anwar Parvez. Representatives from Bangladesh BaoRui Textile Co. Ltd. were also present.
This partnership underscores BEPZA’s ongoing commitment to attracting investments that drive economic growth and create employment opportunities. With Bangladesh BaoRui Textile Co. Ltd. joining the EPZ community, there is optimism for enhanced productivity and innovation in the textile sector.
